EPY 100 - Transition into College Units: 1

This one-credit course introduces students to concepts of personal responsibility including: motivation, emotional intelligence, and technical IQ necessary for entering or returning to college.

Transferability: May not transfer towards an NSHE bachelor's degree

EPY 101 - Educational, Career, and Personal Development Units: 3

This course provides a foundation for student success by introducing proven strategies in communication, critical thinking, and college success methods. Study skills, career exploration and personal development will also be explored.

EPY 220A - Principles of Elementary Educational Psychology Units: 3

This course provides an overview of the psychology of learning, motivation, growth & development, personality dynamics, and social adjustments for students in grades K-8. The purpose of this course is to introduce students to various characteristics that impact learning. Students will explore the implications of learning theories and demonstrate how key concepts and principles can be applied in the educational environment.
