Program Description
The Associate of Arts in Psychology, B.A. Track is designed as a university transfer program that substantially meets the requirements for the first two years of study for the B.A. in Psychology at UNR. The degree requirements include a well-balanced general education curriculum. Specific curriculum provides students with major concepts, theoretical perspectives and empirical findings in Psychology. In addition, students will come to understand and apply basic research methods in Psychology.
The Associate of Arts in Psychology, B.A. Track is a good fit for students who do not see graduate study in Psychology or Psychiatry in their future, but are looking to complement a career in Human Resources, Business, Law, Education, or a related field.
Students requiring clarification on whether to follow a course of study leading towards a B.A. or B.S. in Psychology at UNR, or those wishing to transfer to any other baccalaureate program, should work closely with TMCC advisors and advisors at the institution of transfer to obtain recommended courses.

Program Requirements
AA/AS degrees are designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university.
To earn an AA/AS degree, students must:
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 (see requirements for graduation.)
- Complete a minimum of 15 units within the college.
- Satisfy General Education requirements for the AA/AS.
- Have no financial or library obligation to the college.

Program Outcomes
Students completing the degree will:
